If you are new to our District, start by going to JeffcoConnect. Choose "New Parent/Guardian to Jeffco Schools" and begin the process of setting up a new parent account. If your student has ever attended a Jeffco School, DO NOT set up a duplicate account. Please call the Registrar to reset the password to access the original account. 
Once you have created your parent account, click on “Add a New Student” and enter the information for each student you need to enroll in EMS. After you have entered all of your student information, hit “Submit”.

Log in to EnrollJeffco.orgusing the same Username and Password that was used for Jeffco Connect and submit your school enrollment selections. After you receive notification of enrollment from EMS, you will be contacted by the Registrar to arrange a time to provide the following required documents:

CHOICE ENROLL INTO EMS PROCESS: Round 1 Opens 12/8/2020 Families who wish to enroll their student in a school other than their assigned neighborhood school must complete a Choice Enrollment Application from the link below. Choice Students are accepted on a space available basis. Round one applications are prioritized through a lottery process. If needed waiting lists are prioritized as first in, first offered. A separate application must be completed and submitted for each child. If a student is not accepted at a school during the first round Choice Enrollment, the student will remain on the prioritized wait list and be carried over to Second Round Choice Enrollment.
Choice enrolled students moving from elementary to middle school and middle to high school must submit a new Choice Enrollment Application for each school.
The following records are required for Choice enrollment, once application has been accepted;
· Birth certificate or a copy of the student's passport to verify age and full and complete legal name · Current Immunization Record · Copy of Transcript · Copy of IEP or 504 if applicable, We reserve a 48 hour period to review IEP records to assure that EHS can provide services.
Choice Timeline: For attendance during the school year beginning August 2021 -Choice Enrollment Round 1: begins December 8 – January 15, 2021 *Choice offers will go out in late January, 2021. -Choice Enrollment Round 2: January 19, 2021 – August 31, 2021

IN EMS ARTICULATION AREA ENROLLMENT PROCESS: Prior to enrollment please complete the following steps: Step 1 – Verify Residency Please check to see if your address is within the Evergreen Middle School articulation area. If not, you will be CHOICE enrolling your student to Evergreen Middle School.
Proof of residency within our boundary will be required if you indicate your residence is within our articulation area.  Acceptable forms of proof are; Bills (Xcel Energy, Comcast, Water, Trash), Jefferson County Colorado Vehicle Registration or a driver's license with the address clearly indicating within the Evergreen High School articulation area.
The School Site Locator allows you to determine if you are within Evergreen Middle School's boundary area.

Step 2 – Create or Update Jeffco Connect Account Students NEW to the Jefferson County School District  MUST Complete JEFFCO CONNECT prior to making an appointment for enrollment. Jeffco Connect is our registration system, where family and student information is maintained, like contact information and notification preferences, health needs, language selection, and policy agreements.Use the link below.
Jeffco Connect Step 3 – Records You will need the following documents to enroll your student:

Step 4– Finalize Enrollment *Submit/turn in ALL documents to EMS. Incomplete packets can not be processed. Call 303-982-5020 with any questions.
Withdrawal from EMS Students who leave Evergreen Middle School before the end of the trimester must obtain a withdrawal form from the Enrollment Secretary.  This form must be completed and have all required signatures. The family is also responsible for returning the school issued Chromebook and charger in good working order and cleaned, all books and pay all fines or outstanding fees owed to the school. Transcripts, immunization records, and transfer grades/credits will be sent to the student’s new school within one week of receiving the official records request from the new school.
